We invite designers and architects to collaborate with us to design and develop bespoke sizes, patterns and colours for site-specific projects.
Shape
LightMass^ pieces start life as two-dimensional mesh surfaces that are manipulated into three-dimensional forms in much the same way a tailor would stitch his fabric together to create volume. There is scope for the component pieces to be shaped and connected in new ways to develop unique, site-specific silhouettes.
Our flexible, hands-on process, and the absence of moulds, mean the LightMass^ designs are easily customised.
Colour
The colour of the LightMass^ structure can be chosen to enhance a specific site. We will work with you to define the ideal shade - or combination of shades - to complement the environment the piece sits in.
Pattern
The patterns that form the weave of our unique surface are drawn digitally and then worked up intoa mesh sheet using additive technology that fuses filaments into the precise design. We will workwith you to create a custom pattern to fit your project.
Size
The sizes of individual pieces can be tailored to your needs. We will also create custom compositions for spaces that require a unique and fitting sculptural element. However layered a LightMass^ arrangement becomes, the translucent nature of the surface keeps it feeling airy andlight in its environment.
